International Tank Service, Inc. (ITS) constructs above ground storage tanks for petroleum refineries, water and wastewater facilities, asphalt storage facilities, utilities; and chemical, industrial and governmental facilities. Founded in 1977, this family owned business was started by Everett “Butch” Kirk, III and his grandfather, Everett Kirk, Sr. The company began with sandblasting and painting above ground storage tanks. Today, ITS is a full-service above ground storage tank construction contractor, constructing tanks ranging in size from 50,000 to 6 million gallons, with field operations throughout the United States. ITS manufactures tanks for well-known Fortune 100 Companies such as Honda, GM, IBM, GE, BP, Marathon, Owens Corning Fiberglass, Westinghouse, AEP and DuPont. Everett “Butch” Kirk, III serves as President, along with Dennis Conrad serving as Controller, and John Evans serving as Operations Manager. Additionally, ITS employs over sixty people. To keep current with innovations for the customers it serves, along with governmental regulations, ITS is a corporate member of the American Water Works Association, National Asphalt Paving Association, and Independent Liquid Terminal Association.
ITS has banked with Citizens National Bank for over three years. Kirk received a reference to Citizens from one of his business associates who banks with Citizens. Kirk is impressed with the flexibility Citizens provides with the lending program for ITS. CNB looks at the history of ITS and listens to Kirk and ITS’ staff to develop a lending program that meets ITS’ needs and achieves growth. Kirk states that he's been introduced to services that make his daily operations more efficient. Citizens online business banking product, Online for Business, is proving to be convenient for his staff, who are on the road, with direct deposit of their paychecks. Additionally, the wire transfer service is great for when Kirk is out of town. Another service ITS utilizes is Citizens’ Merchant Capture. With this new product from Citizens, they are able to process checks directly at their place of business. He says, “I feel CNB can relate to me and my business.
