Todd Schaub had worked with his father at S&S Volvo and GMC Trucks for about 5 years when they decided to transition the company’s ownership from his father, Earl, to him. Although he had a good understanding of the business, there were a lot of things to consider in taking over the driver’s seat of the company, including switching names on accounts and tax considerations.
