[Overdraft Privilege]
To help you avoid the embarrassment of a returned check, Citizens National Bank provides an Overdraft Privilege Service. The Overdraft Privilege Service is available on personal and sole proprietorship checking accounts that are maintained in good standing. Rather than automatically returning unpaid any insufficient funds items that you may have, we will consider without obligation on our part payment of your reasonable overdrafts.
Overdraft Privilege Can Mean:
- You can avoid high charges from merchants for returned checks.
- You have new convenience and flexibility in managing your funds.
- Payment of overdrafts up to $700 ($400 on personal Free Checking and Classic accounts) will normally be considered.
Overdraft Privilege is a purely discretionary service and we are not obligated to pay any overdraft. Not all accounts are eligible and restrictions apply (see our Overdraft Privilege Service Description Policy). Our normal Returned Check/Overdraft Charge will still apply to each item overdrawing your account.
How do I sign up?
You don't have to do anything special or sign any additional forms. Once your account has been open for at least 30 days and meets the other requirements, Overdraft Privilege will be added to your account. Just ask one of our customer service representatives for additional details.
