What is an E-Statement?

An "E-Statement is an electronic version" of your account statement and check images. Your E-Statement is delivered to your e-mail address each month in Adobe's popular Portable Document Format (PDF). You can view and print your statement and check images right from your computer using Adobe® Acrobat® ReaderTM. Download it free by clicking here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.

Will I receive my check images with my E-Statement?

Yes. All E-Statements contain check images. However, for those customers using dial-up Internet connections, you may request that check images NOT be included with your E-Statement to increase the download speed of the PDF file.

Will I continue to receive my paper statement in the mail?

No. After your account is set up for E-Statements your statements will be delivered to your e-mail address and your mailed paper statements will cease.

When will I receive my E-Statement?

Your E-Statement will be sent to your e-mail address the next business day after your statement period ends. Historically, you have waited for your paper statement to be printed, processed, mailed and delivered. E-Statements bypasses all of this. So you will be receiving your statement 3-4 days sooner.

Will my E-Statement look the same as my paper statement?

Yes. Your E-Statement looks exactly like your paper statement. Click here to view a sample E-Statement.

How do I save my E-Statement for future reference?

No. You may have your statement e-mailed without signing up for OnLine Banking. You will, however, need to contact a customer service rep in order to sign up for E-Statements since our online signup function is located within OnLine Banking.

Is my statement information secure?

Statements are emailed through a secure connection in order to alleviate any security issues. In addition, passwords are now required in order to open an e-statement, so only you should be able to have access to it.

Will I need a password to view my E-Statement?

Yes. All email statements are assigned a password that is required to be entered when the recipient opens the statement attachment. The password assigned to each email statement will be automatically generated by our system. The password will be made up of two parts as described below:
  • The first 5 characters of the current email address (always capital letters), plus
  • The last 4 digits of the primary owner’s tax identification number
Should you want to change your password, contact a customer service representative.

Will I be able to print my statement and check images?

Yes. Once you open the statement e-mail you will be able to print it just like you print any document on your computer. One of the best things about E-Statements is that if you misplace the copy you printed you can just print another one! And you can also print only the pages you need.
