Aric B. Dewald Promoted to Springfield Market President
Citizens National Bank (CNB) is pleased to announce Aric B. Dewald’s promotion to Springfield Market President. In this role, in addition to being a commercial lender, he will oversee the profitability of the market, be responsible for growing loan and deposit totals, and monitor market trends.
Aric has been with Citizens National Bank for 8 years working in the Columbus office. In his previous role, he managed the bank’s loan participation program. The strong relationships he built with other community banks has been instrumental in growing that program and providing valuable ways to fund larger projects for CNB customers. CNB’s Chief Lending Officer Matt Wood states, “Aric brings valuable financial expertise to our Springfield Office, and I’m confident he’ll help build on the strong momentum we’ve seen in this market in recent years.”
Aric earned his degree from Miami University, majoring in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs with a minor in Economics. Outside of work, he stays active in his community as a volunteer coach for his children’s softball, baseball, and basketball teams. He also loves spending time outdoors fishing with his kids. Aric spends time volunteering at local food pantries and is involved with both the Community Bankers Association of Ohio (CBAO) and the Ohio Bankers League (OBL). He and his wife Kourtney have three children, Arielle, Khloe, and Kody, and have two dogs, Bruno and Toby.
