Darrell Buroker Named to CNB Board of Directors

Citizens National Bank (CNB) has named Darrell Buroker, EVP Lending, to its Board of Directors. Buroker replaces retiring member Steve McFadden who was a key member of the bank’s Senior Loan Committee.

Darrell began his banking career with Citizens National Bank in 1986 as a loan officer. Since that time, he has developed a deep understanding of retail and commercial lending, with a focus on bank profitability and sales leadership. He was promoted to VP Lima City Executive and opened a new branch office in Lima in 1993, was named VP and Director of Commercial Loans in 2001 and was eventually elevated to the Executive VP/Chief Lending Officer role in 2006. Eric Faulkner, CNB President, states “I’m thrilled to welcome Darrell as our newest Board Member. I appreciate his willingness to step up his role here at CNB and to ensure we will be lead by a strong group of Directors for years to come.”

Darrell holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business from Bluffton University. He was heavily involved with Allen County community development, serving as past chairman of the Lima/Allen County Leadership Program, Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce, and the Bluffton United Way Board of Directors. He also served the Lima YMCA, Bluffton Family Recreation, West Central Development Board and Allen Economic Development Group in various roles. He served as the Secretary for the Citizens National Bank and Bancshares Board of Directors until last month.

A long-time resident of Bluffton, Darrell and his wife Rhonda, enjoy spending time with their family including four daughters, two son-in-laws and six grandchildren; Maegan (Danny) Sommers, Brittany (Jonathan) Lewis, Jenna Buroker and Paige Buroker.
