Michael Epps Joins CNB as Findlay City President

Citizens National Bank (CNB) is pleased to welcome Michael Epps as a City President in their Findlay Office. In this role, in addition to being a commercial lender, he will oversee the profitability of the market, be responsible for growing loan and deposit totals, and monitor market trends.

Michael started in banking as a personal/small business banker in Cincinnati in 2005. For the majority of his career, Michael has been a commercial lender in Findlay and most recently, worked in corporate finance for a startup green energy manufacturing firm. “CNB has proven to be a bank that truly cares about the communities where its customers and employees live, work, and play.  Additionally, the City of Findlay’s professional community and civic leadership have experienced CNB’s commitment to the community firsthand.  Therefore, I am thrilled to provide local leadership to a well-established, strong, and dynamic team of bankers that are committed to continued excellence within the Findlay Market,” states Michael.

Michael succeeds Matt Wood, who was recently named the new Chief Lending Officer for CNB. “Michael’s experience and understanding of finance will be an asset to our Findlay office and I’m confident he’ll continue the growth we’ve seen in recent years in this market,” comments Matt.

Michael has a Master of Business Administration degree from Northern Kentucky University. He has volunteered as a board member for the American Red Cross in Hancock County and for the Findlay Rotary Club. He also currently volunteers as a board member for the University of Findlay Business Affiliate Scholarship Program.

Michael and his wife Sarah have been married since 2001 and moved to the Findlay area in 2008, and have 4 children, Neela, Conor, Rowan, and Atlea. “Sarah and I spend our spare time going to our kids’ sporting events.   When they’re not playing, we enjoy spending time with our close friends, many of whom live in our neighborhood.  Additionally, we actively attend and volunteer at Living Hope Church, located in Findlay.”

With offices in Bluffton, Celina, Defiance, Elida, Findlay, Lima, Springfield, Van Wert and Toledo, Citizens National Bank has assets totaling more than $1 billion and has been serving the communities of West Central Ohio since 1920.
