What is an eStatement?

An eStatement is an electronic version of your account statement and check images. Your eStatement is available from with CNB Online Banking by accessing the Documents tab. You may also receive it by email as an attachment. You can view and print your statement and check images right from your computer using Adobe® Acrobat® software. Download it free here.

Will I receive my check images with my eStatement?

If you had previously received images with your statements, you will continue to do so. However, for faster download, you may request that check images NOT be included with your eStatement by contacting your local Citizens National Bank office.

Will I continue to receive my paper statement in the mail?

No. After your account is set up for eStatements, a notification will be sent to your email address each time a statement is available to view.

When will I receive my eStatement?

Your eStatement will be available to view the next business day after your statement period ends. Historically, you have waited for your paper statement to be printed, processed, mailed and delivered. eStatements bypasses all of this, so you will receive your statement 3-4 days sooner.

Will my eStatement look the same as my paper statement?

Yes. Your eStatement looks exactly like your paper statement. View a sample eStatement.

How do I save my eStatement for future reference?

You can create a folder on your hard drive and save/copy the PDF file into it. You can also archive your PDF statement files to a CD or flash drive for safe and efficient storage.

Will I receive an eStatement for all of my accounts?

Yes. Combined statements will appear in one email.

Do I have to sign up for CNB Online Banking in order to receive an eStatement?

No. You may have your statement emailed without signing up for CNB Online Banking. You will, however, need to contact a customer care center representative in order to sign up for eStatements by email.

Is my statement information secure?

Statements that are emailed are sent through a secure connection in order to alleviate any security issues. In addition, passwords are required in order to open an emailed eStatement. If viewing statements through CNB Online Banking, you are already on a secure website and you have been verified by logging in. This option eliminates the need to remember a second password to open your statement.

Will I need a password to view my eStatement?

If viewing statements online, you will only need to know your CNB Online Banking password in order to access the site. All email statements are assigned a separate password that is required to be entered when the recipient opens the statement attachment. The password assigned to each email statement will be automatically generated by our system. Should you want to change your password, contact a customer care center representative.

Will I be able to print my statement and check images?

Yes. Once you open the statement you will be able to print it just like you print any document on your computer. One of the best things about eStatements is that if you misplace the copy you printed, you can just print another one! And you can also print only the pages you need.

How do I sign up for eStatements?

You can enroll online by clicking the Options tab within CNB Online Banking. Under eStatement Enrollment, select Edit. Select the account you would like to enroll and check the disclaimer box.

What is Adobe® Acrobat® software and why do I need it?

Adobe® Acrobat® software is free and used for viewing and printing of electronic forms. You will need this free software installed on your computer in order for your computer to download, display or print your statement and images. We recommend using the most recent version of this software.

Can I have my eStatement notification sent to more than one email address?

No. We are unable to send notifications to more than one email address.

What if I change my email address?

In order to continue receiving your eStatements, you need to notify us of your email address change. This can be done through the CNB Online Banking Update Profile form found under the Other Services tab or by contacting a customer care center representative.

How long will it take to set up my eStatement?

Once enrolled you will see your first eStatement within two business days following the date your next statement cycle ends.

Where is my downloaded statement?

If receiving eStatements by email, your downloaded statement is attached to the email message. You can save it to your hard drive or any storage media your computer supports.

Who should I contact if I do not receive my eStatement?
