Citizens National Bank’s Becky Stepleton Recognized for Giving Back

Becky Stepleton, Branch Manager for the Van Wert office of Citizens National Bank, was recently recognized as a Woman of Achievement by the Van Wert YWCA, receiving the Volunteerism award. Volunteerism and community involvement are a passion for Becky and three of her co-workers recognized this by nominating her for the award. “Becky has been a great addition to our CNB team, but even more than her dedication to work, we recognize her dedication to the Van Wert community through the countless hours she’s volunteered to various organizations,” states Al Saylor CNB Van Wert Market President.

Becky currently serves as the chairman for the Van Wert County Chamber of Commerce, is a Private Duty and Council on Aging board member, is involved with Career Connections teaching second grade, is a member of the revolving loan committee for Van Wert County, and is a member of the Van Wert Rotary. Delaney Eyanson, who nominated Becky for the award, states “Becky, without a doubt, fits into the Volunteerism category for all of the time and energy she puts into her community and job. She uses her talents to help everyone around her and never asks for or expects recognition – she does it because she genuinely cares about everyone around her. She continuously finds new ways to get involved and volunteer her time to different areas of the community from the youth to business development, and even home health care… She gives 110% to everything she is involved in and our community (and workplace) is so lucky to have her.”

“Becky reflects what community banking stands for and is a great representation of CNB,” states Saylor. “We were so pleased to see her receive this recognition and look forward to seeing the impact she’ll continue to have on the Van Wert community.”
